rooms The Director will assume responsibility for the Birthing Center, consisting of state of the art facilities for the care of the pregnant woman
and her family. Programs consist of Labor and Delivery, the Mother/Baby Unit, the Well Baby Nursery and the level II Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the director of the pediatric emergency department and the center for gynecologic
surgery to assure an integrated continuum of care women and children.
The Director will lead a team of highly skilled and motivated staff and managers to achieve superior patient care and satisfaction, as well as to

• 6 bed ER at our Specialty Campus.
Reports to Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services and responsibilities
include: strategic planning; budget oversight; assuring compliance with
regulatory organizations; and implementation of standards of care and
practices.
Requires BSN, (MSN or MBA preferred) RN with 5+ years of progressively
responsible leadership experience, a minimum of two years experience in
a director role. Must have strong leadership and organizational skills and
the ability to coach and mentor ED Manager and staff. Strong HR

The AVP will be accountable for ensuring compliance with hospital and nursing mission,
goals, philosophy, policies and procedures. The AVP ensures quality care is provided
through appropriate allocation of human resources, maintaining financial control of the unit,
and serving as a liaison between administration and staff.
